SAMBO©, formerly called OSIRIS is a competitive and fully enabled SMS VAS platform with a very wide scope of functionality. It allows both content creation and content delivery. Delivery of content may be request triggered, it may be in form of blasts or it may be automated for subscription based service offerings. SAMBO© is robust, quick and efficient- delivering info to as many as 400 numbers per second. SAMBO© was originally developed for SMSIT, a Tanzanian based SMS VAS provider and was operating on the CELTEL Tanzania network. Currectly, SAMBO is being used by International Telecom on the MTN UGANDA and UGANDA TELECOM's Networks. It is also deployed by 2MOBILE in Tanzania, serving VODACOM and ZAIN subsribers.
